INDUSTRY STANDARDS PANEL (ISP)

The Industry Standards Panel (ISP) will serve the Board of Outdoors WA by developing, managing and maintaining the technical agendas of the Industry Quality Framework inclusive of

Accreditation
Adventure Activity Standards
National Outdoor Leader Registration Scheme (NOLRS)
Members Code of Practice
WA Roping Activities Code of Practice

In conjunction with the policies and procedures of the relevant governing bodies for accreditation (Australian Camps Association (ACA) and Tourism Council WA (TCWA) )and the NOLRS (Outdoor Council of Australia(OCA))

The members of the ISP 2011 are

The Industry Standards Panel is supported by Technical Working Committees which provide technical activity-specific advice to the ISP as and when required.

Each Adventure Activity Standard was developed by a Technical Working Committee (TWC) comprising members of the outdoor adventure activity industry.

Once the TWC drafted a particular AAS it was released for public comment which ultimately lead to redrafting and publication.
